Shoddy service from Woolworths and Blake and Associates

I closed my Woolies clothing account which used to accept my loan payments and generally payments to both accounts until I experienced huge stress from Woolies consultants wanting to increase my credit card amounts and at the same time receiving smses and cold and clinical calls from Blake and Associates law firm. I have paid regular amounts to Woolworths via eft. So the money was lying in the missing payments section of Woolworths and I had to provide proof of my payments via email. In the light of the 4th Industrial Revolution am I to accept the dumbness of Woolworths computer systems that they cannot pick up payments made?

Nevertheless after 3 long weeks I saw that my statement reflected the corrected amounts submitted by me. However the interest was not reversed! The latest is I paid an amount of R1500 more than what is required (R930+-) BUT Blake and Associates have sent me an sms asking for arrangements to made to pay the outstanding arrears! I even had very nasty calls from Blake and Associates to put the money in the account they designated. I will not comply and I cut the call! My account has be up to date. When Woolworths tell u that their in store phones are down then they want u to use your own airtime. There are quite a few issues here: 1. Woolworths does not have a well integrated system to track payments. They are handing people willy nilly over to attorneys. This is shoddiness and I have decided to pay of my loan account as I did my clothing account a year ago. 2. The behavior of Blake and Associates representatives are messed up and operate like the mafia. They need to empower themselves with training in courtesy skills. Their skills, if one could call it skills are absolutely horrible for want of a better word! 3. I will not want other customers to go through what am experiencing right now! Woolworths has a bad track record of treating its workers properly and now the carpet is rolled out to its customers. This is unacceptable especially when we have NCA. Nobody is above the law. 4. I cannot understand why I was handed over to the attorneys and Woolworths has not even apologized for it even though they corrected the payments amounts made a long time ago. 5. How many other unsuspecting clients are being hit down like this?

Thank u!
