Paid up letter

Blake and Associates disappoint me. On the 15 November 2022 I paid the amount of R1500 as they deducted it direct from my account.the outstanding balance was R2400 and some odds. On the 25 November 2022 I received a phone call from them to offer me the settlement amount of 1653 of which I paid it on the 28 November 2022. After I paid the amount, they cancelled the debit from my account. Now on my surprise they say I owe them some of R2400 and some odds. Now I just want to know where is the money I paid of R1653 went if I still owe them? On my understanding it is the money I settled out from that R2400 of which they say I still owe. I still have the proof of payments I made as from 15 and 28 November.
