No regard for POPI protection of personal information

This company called me this morning requesting personal information before they can tell me why they are contacting me.

I find this unprofessional. If you require me to share my personal information you should give me sufficient details of the purpose you are calling and which company you are contacting me on behalf or which account you reference to before I share any personal details.

I've requested these people to send me an email with full details. I await their feedback.
