**** about discount for settlement on account

I received an SMS from them saying if I paid up my Homechoice account on Black Friday there will be a certain discount on the settlement amount. There I go I take my children's food money and settle the account thinking that at least if I pay the whole amount they told me to pay I will be able to concentrate on paying for other things. I pay the amount and send proof of payment to them, its almost a week and they still cannot confirm whether my account can be closed or not because according to Homechoice there was no such thing as a discount for settling the amount and I still owe the company. I am fuming.
