Harrasment and lies

I have had it with Blake and Associates. I have been contacted several times by who I assume is handling my account as I recognise the voice. Now, I realize that debt collectors have a reputation for dishonesty but this woman really takes the cake.

Over the past few months she has told me the following lies: When I have said I will continue to make the same payment, she said I had paid R150, when it was actually R114 so she ******* me into paying more money that I cannot really afford.

On another occassion she told me that the instalment had gone up.

The latest was that "Thank you for your payment on the 15th November, we want you to make another payment by the 30th of November."

Today I received a missed call which I can only assume is about trying to get more money out of me, despite the fact that I have agreed to pay by the 15th.

Clearly I am being targeted because I do pay what I say I will and when I say I will. Obviously it is easier to try and get more money out of someone who is servicing their debt than someone who is not.

I assume that this woman either makes a commission for each extra amount that she collects or that she has targets to meet and has decided that I am an easy mark.

This is harrassment and obviously a money making ploy by Blake and Associates - I am sure that I am charged for every phone call, despite the fact that I said that I do not need a monthly reminder.

Well, congratulations Blake and Associates. Here is what is going to happen now. I will stick to the arrangement that I made. I have 20 other creditors and if I am ever in a position to pay more, guess where you will fall on that list - that's right, last on the list.
