Harassment over cancelled Telkom account

<p>I cancelled my telkom account in July but continued to get invoices until October. each time I got an invoice I would contact telkom and send proof of the cancellation request only to be told there is a cancellations backlog and they would sort everything out when they got around to processing the cancellation. In November I got a call from Telkom accounts department about not paying since July, I explained the situation and was told all would be fixed. I never heard from them again.</p> <p>This week I have recieved many calles from different people at Blake and associates because the I***ts at telkom handed me over for collection. I have attempted to mail the proof to them at ********** which they gave me but I receive no confirmation from them. I have sent at least 10 emails of varying size but have not had any success.</p> <p>I have recieived multiple missed calls from this company and when I call back I get some very rude lady at reception who claims she can help but then can't put me though to anyone I have spoken to.</p> <p>I asked to talk to one of the supervisors when contacted today as the consultant could not identify himself properly and provide proof of where his is calling from when asking me for information protected by the POPI act, I am still waiting for a call.</p> <p>I am considering laying a harassment charge against them as well as taking it up with the CPA.</p> <p> </p>
