Demanding money without reason

Blake & Associates seem to demand money from people without any proof that they actually owe it. Is this correct procedure? Give me money or I will blacklist you...?? I have repeatedly asked for proof that I did indeed owe DSTV anything. DSTV have no idea what I am talking about, they cannot provide me with a statement and yet Blake & Associates are happy to take just their word for it and demand money from me.

Yes, but I never received any request from them for money, only from you, so therefore I am assuming you must have some info about my 'debt'? My initial question as I typed above was : do you just demand money from people without any proof that they actually owe it? Is this correct procedure?' So please can you forward me the proof Multichoice must have given you that I owe them money. You must have something, or do you just blindly accept their word....????

Thank you. So it would seem you do not have any proof of my 'debt'? Multichoice has responded, but again, no statement has been sent, and all the info they have relates to a different issue altogether. The amount they requested just seems to be an arbitrary amount that they sucked out their thumb, cool, I'd like to do able to do that too. So it would seem that you do just take their word for it that someone owes them? Multichoice owes me R500, could you please get it from them for me?
