Blake Associates - Not giving any information

I received a call from Blake Associates this morning, regarding my 'microloan'. The lady requested my ID number and date of birth. I told her I do NOT have any microloans and what was this pertaining to exactly. I told her its a ****. She asked for my birthdate to confirm if it was a ****. I gave it to her, but not my ID number. She then said okay, its not the same birthdate they have on the system, so its a ****, then hung up on me!!! I would like to know what this is all about and why am I receiving calls from these people. Is someone trying to take a loan out with my details? What?
