Blacktrottters 2023 NSJF Package

Blacktrottters NSJF 2023.

The classic "What I ordered vs what I got". The "Triple M" of travel.

If your reasons for booking with Blacktrottters is to outsource the mental burden of planning a trip, DON'T DO IT. If all you want is content for Instagram, by all means.

These people are arrogant and unteachable. Blacktrottters have done this trip at least 3 times and have NO repeat clients, if that's not telling enough, read further.

Their communication skills are appalling, it's almost hard to believe, even harder to articulate. Literally, imagine The Amazing Race. Travel details unravel 2mins before the move - wena flights, hotel check-in, transfers- all of it happens haphazardly (if it happens at all). You're guaranteed disappointment at each interaction with any of the hosts (including the owners), and they see nothing wrong. There's not been any acknowledgement of fault nor signs of remorse. The blatant arrogance.

Okay, let's talk about the itinerary. What itinerary?! They packed us in Uber vans and drove around Paris with us for "photo opportunities" at popular tourist attractions. Yes, photo opportunities, not actual tour. This is after I sent them an itinerary (ahead of the trip) built by ChatGPT to give them an idea of what an itinerary is, still nothing.

They'd assigned us (a group of 40+ people) 3 hosts that have NEVER done the trip before, nor the lightest touch research. The owners were often nowhere to be found, seemingly on their own romantic holiday (as per their instagram), we were just tagging along.

To make the best of our time on the trip, we had to do our own research, planning and coordination- only for the host to ask us to send them information about booking the activities we'd done. The nerve.

At the Jazz in Rotterdam, we met people who had been Blacktrottters NSJF clients in 2022 and we trauma bonded over similar stories, only, ours was worse.

Honestly, Blacktrottters fails dismally at basic services of a travel agency, forget a luxurious experience.

Just... don't do it. You're better off planning the trip yourself.
