No replacement or refund for defective sandals

No more Birkenstock’s for me and definitely not through their South African agent Bash Africa. I purchased some sandals in July and returned them because they were defective - staple sticking out the side. Initially the Service seemed great as they told me they would be couriering a replacement pair of my choice. Two weeks later I am still waiting for the slowest courier in the country. And my repeated emails are now not being answered. Seems I should have checked Hello Peter before parting with my money. So disappointed. No shoes and a couple of grand down!
