Poor quality repair and unwilling to do rework

I took My scooter for a leaky fuel tank inspection<br> <br> Marco @ Big Boy advised that the tank could be welded or replaced, I chose welding<br> <br> Within 2 months of the work being completed the tank is leaking again.<br> <br> My problem is that the area was simply welded and the tank refitted to the bike. <br> There is no indication that a weld proof primer was used before welding or primer/top coat were app**** after welding.<br> <br> Marco @ Big Boy refuses to weld the area up again properly unless I pay for the service again.<br> <br> Since, the repair was of poor quality I think that this is unfair. <br> Marco @ Big Boy throws his hand up in the air and claims not to be a magician.<br> I wonder why he would think we need magicians, we only need good pre and post prep for a good weld.<br> <br> This is a small part of my problem with big boy<br> The bikes are generally poor quality, rust easily, some internal bushes are made from a composite and not steel and break easily.<br> Everything comes loose all of the time, electrical issues, standard tires - mine at least - are nylon pretty dangerous in the wet. <br> <br> Bikes cheaper but everything else is a *******<br> <br> Good luck Marco, you have lost a customer for life
