Hello Peter,

A strong message to everyone planning to take a motor warranty with Bidvest, on my first claim they rejected it and directed me to their long list of components not covered (all important issues) and covered (irrelevant issues). they couldn't cover: -my suspension (when taking insurance, they told me they cover it) -wipers (on the phone they told me they cover them) -Expansion tank

even though when they sold me the warranty they claimed to cover most of important parts. they basically cover parts which hardly bother you and their most cover is up to R1000, even then, there are more conditions.

I cancelled my warranty immediately after realising I was paying for nothing as this sounded like a rip-off. I hope more will read thoroughly before committing to Bidvest Warranty.
