Go to any other VW dealer but this one!!!!!!!!!!!!

If I could, I would give Bidvest McCarthy VW Silver Oaks -5 stars. I have received better service from the department of home affairs!! I bought a secondhand car from them June this year, it has been a never ending nightmare!! The sales agent constantly makes promises and has barely kept one of them. I'm constantly being **** to by the sales agent and he drags out the process. I waited weeks to take ownership of the car I already paid for because the sales agent **** to us and did not do what he was supposed to or what was aggreged.

One of the many empty promises and lies was that he told us half an hour before we were supposed to get my car we couldn't get the car because the windscreen had to be replaced. When we phoned him because we're not getting feedback from him, he told us that the windscreen wasn't replaced because on closer inspection it wasn't necessary, ok fine. We got the car and guess what, the lane assist wasn't working because the windscreen needed replacing. When we contact his manager he go's off on my husband and myself. He screams so loudly that people around us can hear every word he says. When we finally get him to stop screaming our ears off and we explain to him why we're calling him, he admits his employee is the party at fault. This however does not mean we get an apology for how we were treated or that the service improves. We have to phone them constantly to get feedback because they don't call us with feedback, even though they made a big mess and it's their responsibility to sort it out. We've contacted the dealer principle regarding the revolting service and he's also not getting back to us.

So please if you expect good service, honesty, respect, common decency or problems to be sorted out in a timely manor and with a sense of urgency, PLEASE go to another VW dealership. PLEASE don't make the same mistake we did!!!!
