Worthless buyers protection

3 weeks after paying for an order and receiving no response from the seller I logged a Buyers Protection claim. Heard nothing from BoB, but a week later I got a letter from the seller about her financial difficulties and asking me to consider writing of the money. I was not willing to so she offered to send a replacement item. I declined because I know she won't send it and then BoB will tell me the 30 days to claim has expired. 8 days later Bob issued a refund voucher at 6pm on a Friday, but the voucher expired 6 hours later before I even read the email. I don't think BoB has any intention of holding up on their buyers protection. It is only intended to offer false security to their buyers. In future I will only use them for transactions where I can pay cash on collection.
