Trouble with Seller on Bidorbuy

I purchased a "Goldair Rechargeable Fan" and according to the Instructions Booklet that I received with the fan, the battery should be charged for a period of between 8 to 12 hours, then the fan should work without electricity supply. I charged the battery for 12 hours and when I switch off the electricity supply, the fan stop to work. There are either no battery in or the battery is not working. I don't want the fan if the battery don't work and Seller or Bidorbuy have to replace the fan with a fan with a battery that work, at no extra cost by me.
