POOR Service - Buyers Beware

I responded to an advert on BidorBuy for a specific laptop (Dell Inspirion i7). I wanted to know if the seller could do an upgrade to the hardware (RAM) as well the MS Office software. I received confirmation of. The request at R 600 more than originally advertised. I accepted the revised price an da confirmed my buying the equipment. All of the above-mentioned occurred over a period of +/- 8 days. When next I enquired about the payment for the equipment I was told that I had never made any offer on the specific item recently. I referred to the recent email communication which was then confirmed 2 days later. However, the asking price had suddenly increased by another R 300?! I immediately enquired about the increase and the fact that the seller and I had agreed on the price when the "upgrade" had been and price had been agreed upon. Obviously I received no response to my enquiry and this specific piece of equipment is now advertised at the. "new" increased selling price?! How ********* can you get??? Needless to say I am not satisfied with the "service" I received from either the seller and more specifically BidorBuy as an organization which prides itself on their "impeccable service". To any potential customers: Be very cautious and weary if and when considering dealing with this organization. You could end up with "egg on your face".
