No Buyer Protection - A Complete lie!

Purchased an item from a seller on Bidorbuy for R600, the item that arrived was not the one i purchased but a previous model, covered in dirt and very poorly packaged. <br> I contacted bidorbuy for buyer protection and after a week and a half of no response from the seller i received word that their details would be forwarded to me for legal action!? <br> <br> For R600 bidorbuy expected me to contact a lawyer and sue in small claims court. HOW IS THIS BUYER PROTECTION???<br> I then refused and was told this is the only way since they have paid the seller already. Meaning their website lies completely about the parameters around which their buyer protection works and you are in fact not in anyway protected by them if they take over a week to process a claim!
