False Advertising

They advertise verified sellers and that you are protected. but when it comes to you actually claiming. They Never get back to you and you have to reclaim over and over again. In November 2014 I bought a Canon Eos 7d kit for R19 999 form a verified seller. I paid the money directly to Bid or Buy whom then paid the seller. In December 2014 the seller wanted me to cancel the claim as his suppliers has closed down in New York, And him not being able to pay me back. So to date I have not received a sent from the seller or from BID Or BUYS, buyer protection, even if it is only R5000??? It is better than nothing. The even cancelled my first claim, saying it is resolved??? what the hell? I believe this to be false advertising and giving clients a false idea of protection. As they never pay out or get back to a buyer. I would have never paid so much money if there wasn't a verified seller. furthermore people need to read the fine print! because you are only protected for R5000 even though you spend way more. I only saw this fine print afterwards.

Hello Jnet&Ricco,

Thank you for your comments .

Your Buyer protection program (BPP) claim is still pending , this was communicated to you on the 10th February 2015 on TICKET ID : XZP-***6 (which you acknowledged).

As you are aware the entire BPP claim process may take up 30 working days to investigate and process.

The BPP offers protection up to a maximum of R5000.00 for verified sellers , we are still working closely with the seller to ensure the balance of your payment is refunded. This may take some time we ask for your patience.

Kind regards
Reatile Pinto
