BidorBuy not what it used to be. Sellers and buyers alike, BEWARE!

I listed an item on BidorBuy on which someone placed a bid, won, and then never paid for the item. After charging me advertising fees, and also deducting R200+ for "sale success fees" they have now stole my money and refuse to pay it back even though the item I listed was never sold.

My queries to them in regards to the matter were met with absolute arrogance and even passive ************ tactics.

Most of their "buyers" are **** profiles which just bid up the price on your item leaving real buyers uninterested, and the **** ones never paying for the item. BidorBuy also offers the seller no protection from this kind of revenue loss, nor do they have any sympathy for this issue. I've been doing business with BOB since 2011 at least, and this is no way to treat a longstanding, loyal supporter of their platform. Think carefully before listing your products with BidorBuy. They also take such a large cut on "sales success" these days, that it is not worth the trouble listing with them and most products can now be found cheaper on Takealot (sellers are inflating their prices to feed BidorBuy their cut of the pie) with 100 times the customer service. Please don't support these people if you can help it.
