Bidorbuy

So as we know this time of year specifically today is Black Friday. The experience that I had today from bidorbuy customer support and the people that I dealt with was not only appalling but putrid.a regular paying customer that's not only been using bidorbuy for a year or two now gets treated the way I did...basically these guys profiled me as a person like I was a threat to them why just because I mentioned that I would want to email the current CEO Andy Wiggins??? Do we not have a right as a customer? As the saying goes "Customer is King" not only did they get their head of E-commerce lead security involved which I know they took it as a threat and just assumed they could step on me today. I am an honest person and righteous in what I do.but the way they treated me by getting their head of E- commerce of security involved like I was some kind of online ********...when it was just a normal customer related issue...so let me talk about the issue to fill everyone in...my account ,well accounts I had 3!!! the lady said i had which showed on their system. now my point is why would I have 3 accounts??? It Is because their system is flawed and inefficient which I've told them and they actually asked me to tell them how they can improve like really??? Words like invalid captcha, not confirmed user and all of those errors followed.it was an issue not resolved from 2021. After what transpired from early this morning. I've been sending emails from 1am this morning with regards to my account and it giving me issues. not only from now but from a while ago. I had to actually use my girlfriends account and logging details to purchase products because we have to admit they offer good products but not the best! there's plenty platforms that offer the same thing and cheaper too. but I've only used them because of the buyer protection policy they have in place. thats the only reason I used them. it was safe if there were issues with sellers or products it was rectified. I'm not only a regular buyer but I've spent thousands via the bidorbuy site!!! And we all know they take a cut right?. Not only did I buy different kinds of items they offered but a few very high end products as well. I have a list of products I've bought.it amounts to thousands of Rand's and then I was treated the way I was today because why? Am I a threat or do I seem like a threat. Maybe now jaa but I dealt with them accordingly even after being under so much of frustration and stress just because of their system not displaying a bid button at the said time...I was literally on the bid at 9am as advertised and then 1 min later two people's bids went through at 9:01am so how is that possible? Spoke to customer support first I was told bidorbuy uses a different timing system but then why advertise a bid for 9am and nothing appears? My phone time was set to Google time so how is their system opening a link 1 minute later. Well that was just one of my issues this morning. I feel already this review is too long so I won't include other issues but I am going to take it further. Because we as people who are feeding their pockets and making them rich!!! And giving that company a yearly Net worth of 5 million US then we have to be treated correctly. This is why I will go out of my way to get this message across. And if similar platforms do come out with buyer protection policies and work on their own efficiencies then they can so take bidorbuy directly on.

I honestly think if similar platforms like takealot.com, OLX,Gumtree and loot.co.za put a buyer protection policy into to place. very similar to what bidorbuy has then they would not only see more traffic on their websites but also a huge increase in sales too.the experience I had with bidorbuy pushed me so far away that I would never spend a further sent on that site because our money gets taken and we still get treated by unprofessional people with an inefficient rigged system. This is why if these platforms I have mentioned puts a policy into place they would so crush bidorbuy! Who is actually taking people's money and leaving them unsatisfied as customers. It will not only benefit the said platforms in sales but also give South Africans more options to shop online. Hence giving us more options and very competitive online marketplaces so we will actually be spoilt for choice and also have a choice who we give our money to. They sit In offices which we funded probably and salaries which are paid with our money. I think a step needs to be made by similar platforms to take them on.
