Bid or buy has no interest in protecting Buyers

<p>PLEASE BE AWARE when buying anything off bidorbuy. As a buyer they have no interest in listening or protecting their buyers - Ther are only intersted in keeping the sellers happy on this site. Sellers pay for every listing and bidorbuy will then take comission form every purchase so they are making their money from their sellers hence they are so eager to protect the sellers and will not take the buyers side in any dispute. If you as a buyer are unhappy with a service that the seller has given you - They just wont care - They will have nothing of it. You are not even able to give a seller a bad rating because the seller will just log n dispute with Bidotbuy and bidor buy will remove the bad rating off the sellers name. So you never really know who you are buying from because most sellers have all excellent reviews because bidorbuy removes the negative ratings. This is false and you may be buying from someone that can rip you off. Trust me, I have now burnt my fingers on there with a seller called INTERNATIONAL COINS. i BID ON A COUPLE OF ITEMS AND PAID THEM IN FULL for the items purchased. International coins wanted to charge me R200 for bubble wrap to collect the items from there store in Cape Town and I jaut refused! How can someone charge that much for bubble wrap. They are making money by *****ing and charging poor souls on courier costs. I told The seller that I will pay in full but that they can keep the items and relist or throw them away - After all - It is my items and as a consumer I may opt to do whatever I WANT with my items. I complained to bidorbuy but they simply removed the ratings I gave the seller and in turn allowed the seller to give me bad ratings. This seller was rude from the get go and if I dont wish to deal with them, then it is my right as a consumer. REMEMBER - I STILL PAID THEM IN FULL! Biorbuy should be more strict with the sellers that are ripping honest clients off but instead they take the sellers side and delete all the negative ratings that people give the sellers. This is dishonest practice from bidorbuy. Ratings are there for a reason and to warn other people for not falling into the same trap. You can lof an appeal on their site but they still basically just reject you appeal. Be very very wary of shopping on this online platform. They are there to make money - not to protect the users on their site. But what they dont realise is that without the users - THEY WOULD HAVE NO BUSINESS! Rather use OLX where you can communicate and deal with the buyer directly regarding your purchase. I a highly disgusted at the ********* business practice from bidorbuy where they "Jippo" the ratings for their sellers! Be very very carefull! Ratings on thsi site is not honest at all - They change the ratings!</p>
