Avoid if you know what's good for you

I was cheated outright by the seller (Rashid/onsale24) who sent me a 2nd Gen chromecast carefully packaged in a Chromecast Ultra box in early December . The seller answered no emails etc. Bidorbuy refused to assist in any meaningful until the seller was back 'from holiday'. After that, when the seller refused to send a courier to pick up the item, instead of buyer protection kicking in, I get asked to send it back to him at my cost, trusting him to refund me. After some arguing I finally agreed to send it to him via postnet 2 postnet and request the nearest postnet from the seller - nothing but crickets. So again instead of any help, the guy at bidorbuy tells me that the seller would prefer I courier it directly to him and that Fastway 'isn't that expensive'!? No progress has been made since. Basically they are just protecting their sellers and themselves from any liability. The whole buyer protection after 3 days thing is a complete ****. Disgusting , worthless group that has no place in business.
