Worst service ever. Don't take responsibility for their own mishandling of items.

Worst service ever! Several inconvenient changes regarding removal dates and delivery dates. Had to phone to get updates regarding how and when removal will take place. Truck was late too with delivery and also had separate loads with my furniture. All of it was damaged in some way, my TV pressed into a much smaller crate after asking them to put it back in original box. TV led screen completely cracked due to their own negligence. Added heavy boxes on top of my bookcase and broke it in 2 pieces. My Kirby vacuum cleaner is gone as well as some boxes too with no explanation. Took it up with management and only receiving settlement less than 2% of the amount that the TV actually cost to replace. Management throws around contract terms but don't take into consideration that it was the packers who was negligent with handling the TV before removal at 1st address and forcing it into a smaller crate whilst having bigger crates in the truck. All my boxes eas squashed and mishandled too. No care for personal items with sentimental value. Worst after service ever. Don't use them, they don't care about clientele satisfaction.

Dear Valued Customer,

It is with great regret to hear of your experience with Biddulphs International.

We can confirm your service was a groupage service and as such would be shared with other peoples possessions which is a standard offering in the industry. Had you paid for a direct service with your own vehicle this would cost significantly more.

We utilise crating as standard for all TV's and whilst these are normally the best method of protection for the more modern curved TV's, on this occasion we do not follow through accordingly and this has resulted in damages inserting it into the crate.

The photos you have sent through show a large portion of self packing to save on costs which you pointed out over the phone and the majority are not Biddulphs boxes. Most of the boxes were ex boxes from couriers and chip packet boxes that have no strength to properly support a long journey with other items stacked. We always try our utmost to load these in the best possible manner.

You selectively insured your items in order to save on costs. This is clearly indicated for all clients to see by the signature section as we do not determine what value you wish to insure your items for that is your choice as filled out on the valuation form.

We are not responsible for settling the claims as this is handled by the insurers and the brokers.

We have been actively engaged with you on this claim multiple times this week and I can confirm as at today the brokers are handling your claim and finalising a revised offer as per your unhappiness for selectively insuring your items.

Assuring you of our best attention at all times.

Kind Regards,
Team Biddulphs
