Think twice before hiring biddulphs international
We decided to relocate to Durban from East London as a family. Hired Biddulphs international to move our furnitures and vehicle. Everything went well on the East London side and the problems started on the Durban move in. Our furnitures were delivered and others were damaged and other stuff were not delivered.
The movers were not handling our appliances with care and both refrigerators and microwave have broken legs. The leg of our dinning table was broken and after emails being exchanged and insurance money being paid. Our table was delivered glued.
To make matters even worse the missing items are still not delivered and the Durban office claims that they don’t have those items. It’s been 3 months and we still haven’t received our items
Thank you for your comments and review feedback. Thank you also for being patient in this matter. There are inherent risks when moving especially on a big move from EC to KZN. We note this issue has been fully finalised dating back to 14th Feb 2025 already with the insurance claim process. There was a damaged table, it was received for repairs on the day of offloading. A gas cylinder was not delivered and it was also noted that a single mattress had not been delivered. It was confirmed that the mattress was indeed delivered. We arranged to have the gas cylinder dropped off and were also informed by yourselves to bring it together with the dining table after it's repaired. You were sent pictures in advance of re-delivery of the repaired items to which confirmed we can make final delivery. On delivery of the repaired table and gas cylinder (a good while after the actual delivery date) we were then advised that there is a now a missing mop, shovel, mat and window wiper. They are also not listed on the inventory and were also not submitted on your original claim form. We trust this brings the facts to the forefront and should there be anything else we can assist with then please direct this to relevant branch and/or insurance broker accordingly. Thank you for your support, Team Biddulphs.
