Storage Conditions Very Bad
Moved from Cape Town to Richards Bay on the 28th of September 2020, Biddulphs picked up my Goods, they will will be in Storage for 2/3 months in Richards Bay. It happened that I needed my Computer and Monitor, So i called requesting to pick up, paid R650 to pick up, well that's fine its handling fee after all. But hey, upon arrival, Storage Conditions are so bad, the place is dusty, my items were stored on the floor, wooden coffee table, and tv stand on the floor, Head board on the floor and not wrapped. Some boxes teared, I'm happy that i picked up my PC otherwise it was going to have dust ingress and be damaged. That Richards Bay storage just looks horrible. Something needs to be done about it. I don't mind that i picked and loaded my own boxes after Paying R650, but what is it for? If my goods are not stored correctly. I wish I could upload pictures.

We apologise for your experience you had at the branch. All the pallets at the storage facility were full and your load has been covered in blankets and a dust cover. On your arrival your load was uncovered and made available for you to choose whatever you required. Please be rest assured as discussed over the phone we will correct everything for you including the waiving and refunding of the handling fee and also putting your personal effects into storage pallets as we do have some clients vacating this coming weekend.
