Pathetic moving experience and claim payout

<p>I used Biddulphs to move from Richards bay to Jhb in late July 2016. The broke items while packing and packed glass and steel in same boxes. </p> <p> </p> <p>I insured the contents for around R 700 k to ensure that I would not have any under claim issues. I paid close to R100 000 for the move.</p> <p> </p> <p>They dropped my Piano, Pool table and stood on the cover bending it. The broke the garden sculptures, Glass CD racks ( While packing), wooden and stone animals ( While packing) including picture frames , wedding glass set and the fridge.</p> <p> </p> <p>I have submitted the claim and its has been 5 months thus with no payout. The initally where sending items for fixing and glueing. Now that are taking insured amounts and deviding it by the no of items.</p> <p> </p> <p>For example I have 2 fridges the first is 20 years old so I valued it at R 2000 and the other is new with a value at R 10 000 so the total catogry value is R 12000. They damaged the new fridge and want to pay me R 6000 sating that the payment is based on R 12000 devided by 2 instead of the R 10 000.</p> <p> </p> <p>No response even from Head office when cc into the numerous emails I will never use this company in the future. </p> <p> </p>
