Items missing, furniture not wrapped, linen mixed with brooms and dustpan

Requested and received a quote from this company called Biddulphs to move from Nelspruit to Pietermaritzburg. Paid and notified them that I’ll use their services to move my furniture on 27 September 2018 as per my request only to be told that my furniture can only be moved the following week (October) because they are short of trucks. Now if you rent a flat, you’d understand that you have to be out on the last day of the month which is 31st because other people will be moving in on the 1st.

This company does not care about you. I call and send a number of emails, no one responds.

After a number of calls, I was told the manager would call me to assist but he never bothered to call.

Eventually after putting pressure on them and calling every hour for 2 days, they agree (as if they are doing me a favor) to move my furniture on the 31st of October. The guys come in late at 12:30 Sunday and I had to wait for them to finish packing my stuff. Mind you I have to drive to Pietermaritzburg for 7 hours!

Eventually they packed and told me they would deliver on the 8th of October of which I had no say.

Finally they deliver my furniture but some of my furniture is not wrapped. My tv was delivered as is. Food mixed with clothes. Linen mixed with broom and dustpan. Some of my boxes are still missing and no one bothers to call or keep me up to speed as to what’s happening.

Where is the rest of my stuff? How did my stuff end up in Bloemfontein? Was it not numbered with my name on? I want the missing items delivered.

I will never use this company ever! And I suggest you don’t.

What they have written on their website about seemless experience is lies and must be removed because they do not live by it. I had such a terrible experience
