Non-functional aircon pump
I had a disappointing experience with Ben's Auto Aircon. I brought my Ford Focus in for a non-functional aircon pump and accepted a quote of R6,727.50. Communication was inconsistent; after being told the car was ready, the story changed to an 'electrical issue' the next day. Unfortunately, the car still has the exact same problem it started with, despite the request for full payment.

Non-functional aircon pump

I drive a 2009 KIA Sedona 2.9 CRDi EX. My Aircon pump started making a terrible noise, it was still working and cooling the vehicle. I enquired from KIA what a replacement pump would cost: R29 432.00 + Labour + Consumables (Excl VAT). However they also told me that you don’t get it anymore. I started enquiring who can help from various Aircon businesses. Send out numerous e-mails with only a few businesses responding with varying answers and suggestions. Ben from Ben’s Auto Aircon contacted me on WhatsApp and said he can fit a new pump. R9 200.00 all inclusive. I arranged a date and was at his business at 08H00. 1 ½ hours later it was done and working perfectly. The service was friendly, excellent and fast.
