Yes... No... Maybe... Actually... Declined...Wrong info... Reviewed... ****...what next

As January is always a long month especially after Christmas I app**** for a small loan from Bayport. Gave them all my documents as I was pre-approved so I figured there would be no harm. Our HR gentleman is away as his sister in law died so they spoke to someone else who gave them the wrong information. They declined. Carmen from Lanevision (Brilliant lady - cares about her customers) find out they declined because they were told by mistake that I worked as a contractor. Cleaned that up - sent it again. Carmen comes back and asks if they have phoned as the decline message has not changed. Bayport claims that they did their homework. No so. I was on the board that afternoon and know exactly who phoned. Carmen submits again and this time it is established along with my LOA that I am a permanent staff member. Now we wait. They say turnaround in 48 hours - it has been 72. Their reason for decline has been cleared up so there is nothing in their way. I don't like being **** about or **** to and I have a strong suspicion that they are looking for some way to save face. As financial service providers they are expected to have a little integrity

HA HA now the reason for the decline is that there is no UIF or PAYE on my salary slip. They obviously do not realise that if you work in South Africa you are required by law to pay tax and UIF. I can see it clearly. They are also implying that I am involved in some ******** activity by ducking my responsibilities. Not at all happy
