retrenchment claim

<p>Good day , I have a loan with Bayport which carried a cover for retrenchment .I had a app**** for Debt Review in 2015 January of which there was a sixty [60] notification period issued to all my debtors .The payment was always constant except for those 60 during the application process ....Last year I was retrenched in October 2015 and hence in September when I received the notification of retrenchment I was told its no longer covered as payment was not made...My debt counsellor argues this and has stated that all payments where up to date ....I find it very convienant that only when I notifed Bayport then they tell me I am not covered but accepted payment non the less</p>
