Bayport FS sending whatsapp messages

Last night at 23:31 my wife received a whatsapp message from a David who claims to work for Bayport Financial Services. Claiming that she qualifies for a loan of 80.000, I do not even want to get into the unprofessional grammar, despite the fact that they sent a whatsapp at night.

When we tried to call him, he said we should call him after 30 minutes, and when we called the Company, we waited forever on the ********** number. When we called the Cape Town ********** 084, they wanted our ID number, of which we refused to give, and wanted to address this complaint.

If this is a professional company, why are are employing people that "stalking" people via whatsapp?
