Will never use Battery Center Krugersdorp again

I wish I could give a no star rating due to the unfortunate experience at Battery center Krugersdorp Cnr. Rissik & Commisioner St.

I had a new car battery fitted on the the 18/12/20 at the center and after six months of having it fitted I started experiencing problems. I returned to the center to have it tested and it is still well within it's 24 months warranty period. The treatment I received was extremely rude and was told the battery was 100% and no fault found. He advised me it must be an electrical issue on the vehicle. I took my vehicle to the Honda agent where the vehicle was purchased new. They did a full diagnostic on the vehicle and found no fault and it cost me R977.00 which cost more than the battery. I also had my tracker company test their system and could find no fault.

I returned the car to the battery center this morning with all my relevant proof. The treatment I received from Mr Karl Gunn-Parense was absolutely disgusting. He continued not wanting to honor the warranty and was making a huge scene stating that he personally will have to carry the loss which is not factual as it goes back to the supplier as a factory fault. If I was not persistence, I would have had to purchase a new battery elsewhere. I personally would not recommend this battery center to anyone as customer care is non existent and apparently the manufacturers warranty carries no weight as per Karl Gunn-Parense.

With much reluctance he finally replaced the car battery.
