Terrible experience with Battery Centre

I bought a battery last year February 2023 at Battery Centre Montague gardens. I found out yesterday that the battery that they sold me was a 2021 model. I experienced problems with the battery running flat. I then went to the Battery Centre in Florida Roodepoort, as i relocated. They found out that the date on the battery was 2021 and therefor fell out of warranty although my receipt stated 2023. A lady from their Regional office asked for photos of the battery from the Florida branch. I was then told that the battery had post damage and the warranty claim was not successful. She ignored the fact that i received a old batter. She was also extremely rude on the phone. I was then forced to buy a new battery.
