Rude assistant

This morning I took my old 2006 Hilux bakkie to Battery Centre, Thornhill. I tried explaining my problem to a worker called Tristan and he just kept cutting me off before I could finish a sentence. He then tried to assist someone else before getting to my car but I went and stood next to him to catch his attention once again. He got very annoyed and didn’t even try to hide it. I continued to try and explain my problem but he just brushed me off. I asked him if he was aware that he has not allowed me to finish a single sentence since I got there and he said he knew what I wanted and wanted to finish and help others. Meanwhile I was one of only two clients in the centre. I had also waited my turn while he was helping a client that I found there. I told him that I do not take kindly to his conduct as I was not only a client but was way older than him. I even pointed out to him how the big boy I was with was actually my son. At that point he told me that he’ll call “Andries” to come and help me while he walked away. I asked him if he was calling Andries to come and be patient with me because Andries was black like me or was just a better and more respectful person than him. He stormed off into the store with no client to assist because Andries was done helping the other guy he so badly wanted to help before me. Thankfully Andries was very helpful and is the only reason I’ll go back to this centre.
