Battery Center Fourways Crossing.

I had the worst experience with Battery Center in Fourways Crossing.

I took my car to have the battery checked, Chad the manager, said that i had to replace it. i went home and came back the following day with my slip from AHK Randburg where i initially bought the battery. They are apparently a customer to Battery Center and i had to take my Exide battery to them as per warranty.

When i visited Chad the following day his attitude changed when he saw that i had a slip and needed to exchange the battery. He claimed that AHK **** to me about the warranty. He said how can i buy a battery from one place and go get a warranty from a different place.

I called the Randburg Battery Center branch to confirm if Chad was telling the truth, They said i had been given false info as they do exchange as long as i had the slip from AHK. Chad was not interested in hearing this, He said, 'rather go to them cause i wont help you' . I also called AHK Randburg and spoke to Rafiek who was quite upset about how i was treated. He kindly asked if i could come to the shop and he would resolve everything for me. I went to go see him and he attended to my query promptly.

I was very upset with Chad because i know that a customer is not meant to treated in that manner, He literally walked away from me whilst i was talking to him and worst part was that i very calm and wanted him and myself to resolve it but he was not interested. If he is new at the store all he had to do was make a call to his head office and get clarification. He showed no interest and i had to use my airtime calling the Randburg branch and he seemed unbothered.
