False marketing

Visited Bata shoes in Mthatha Plazza, I saw a pair of black sandals at a price of R299, at my arrival at the till the shoe price had escalated to R356. I questioned the lady at the till, she told me that there was nothing that she could do and she was not allowed to do discounts, of which it was never a discount case but rather false marketing. The reginal manager was not available when contacted
