Emotionally scarred by Bata shoe manager

<p>On attemp to return a pair of shoes that had been tried on at home and did not fit, the manager at Bata shoes in Tyger Valley Mall refused to exchange or refund the shoes as per the consumer protection act. </p> <p>When I mentioned the consumer protection act in firm and respectful manner, the manager's belittleling and disgusting way of dealing with me, worsened. </p> <p>She refused to look at a snippet of the consumer protection act or see to me any further because according to her she had 'real' clients to attend to.</p> <p>After waiting for her to attend to the other clients, I asked nicely if she could please speak to my mom on my phone that will explain to her why it is the right thing to help me at which point she told me numerous hurtful things including that there is something wrong with me, I am just a child, I should just go already and other things that had me in tears afterwards.</p> <p>I cannot imagine that anyone working with people on a daily basis could treat a costumer so badly because of age. The youth is afterall their future business. </p> <p>I am deeply disappointed that my favourite shopping mall, Tyger Valley, would allow this.</p>
