damaged shoes

I brought the shoes on 23 Dec 2014, they cost 279-90. within a week of wearing them they looked like they have seen better days . its not like i wore them everyday . the sole started to slowly break . i couldn't believe it , when i took them back to the shop the lady that helped me didn't seem to know what to do in situations like this. I thought Bata shoes was about quality . i'm very disappointed at Bata and i definitely will not be buying shoes from them anymore
