6 Month guarantee - a farce

I bought 3 pairs of school shoes from Bata for my kids for school on the 28 Dec 2015. For my eldest we specifically bought the Toughee Sports. After 3 (three)weeks at school the Toughee Sports already had holes in the toe area. When I took them back I was told he played soccer in them and I said of course he did, that's what all boys do at school break but that is why we got the sports version. They said they will not uphold their 6 month guarantee
