Barron only Deals with PTY Ltd companies
I'm trying to register to purchase from Barron in order to enhance my existing business but seem to be hitting brick walls as if Barron doesn't want any new business. Who ever is dealing with me seems to be an NPC and doesn't want to assist me because I don't have a business registration certificate. I have been in business for over 25 years and operate as a sole proprietor and have over 10 wholesale suppliers and not one of them ever said I can't purchased from them because I don't own a PTY ltd company. I have searched your website through the Terms and Conditions and nowhere does it mention that only PTY Ltd Companies may purchase from Barron. I don't have to purchase through Barron however i would like to because it will be a massive enhancement to my business. Please assist me
Please note that Barron does not only deal with PTYs, we register all sizes of businesses as long as they are resellers of products. We do however have a stringent registration process that requires you to submit all necessary documentation required to process your application.

What you say is not true you will only register a PTY company, i know this because i tried for many days to register my sol prop branding company that I have been trading with for 20 years, I sent multiple types of proof such as bank account confirmation, social media profiles, invoices, business cards etc and your people made me run around like crazy and still they wouldn't budge until i supp**** the PTY documents for my other company which has nothing to do with branding then 5 minutes later my account is registered.
Just makes no sense, if i have proven that im trading as a branding company then why do i have to supply PTY documents? I have accounts with more than 10 suppliers that only supply the trade and none have ever made me jump through hoops like Barrons have.
and Just FYI because you keep asking for CC documents which you don't get anymore (It is no longer possible to register a CC in South Africa, in accordance with the new Companies Act (Act 71 of 2008)
