Lack of respect for client concerns

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the service I have received regarding my VW Polo Vivo 2022, which I purchased in May at another dealership.Since acquiring the vehicle, I have experienced persistent screeching brakes, which have caused considerable embarrassment.

I have visited Tygervalley barons branch three times to address this issue as my car is still under warranty , and each visit I got a different explanation:

On my initial visit, I was informed that nothing was wrong with the brakes and was told that the issue was trivial since the brakes were nearly new.

During my second visit, I was advised that the noise was a common trait of modern car brakes due to the absence of asbestos, a claim that seems inconsistent with my experience. My father works at a dealership and frequently brings home new vehicles, none of which exhibit the same noise.

Most recently, I was told that the source of the noise is a ridge on the disc and that it requires skimming and the pads shamper.

Throughout this process, I have been met with a lack of professionalism and respect. Each interaction left me feeling as though my concerns were dismissed and that the staff spoke to me condescendingly. This treatment contrasts sharply with my experiences at other workshops, where I have received much better service.

One particular comment from your staff member, “You know we don’t make the cars,” was especially disheartening and reflected a lack of pride and concern for customer satisfaction.

The only person who addressed my concerns with genuine respect and professionalism was the workshop manager. Unfortunately, this does not compensate for the overall poor experience I have had.

I hope this will be given the attention it deserves, and that my concerns will be handled with the seriousness they warrant. My recent experiences have significantly impacted my view of VW, making me reluctant to consider or recommend VW vehicles in the future.
