No concern for customer

A lady from VW phoned me during the first week in February 2018 to inform me that my car, a Vivo, was due to come for it's final service. A few days later a lady from Barons VW N1 City phoned me to book this service. One of the ladies told me the service had to be done by the end of February. The car was booked in at Barons N1 City for the 20 February. I told them there was a knocking sound coming from the front of the car and then was told that the warranty had expired on the 12 February 2018. I then phoned VW South Africa and all they said to me that they can't do anything. This was all based on being told that I had till the end of February 2018 to bring the car in.
