Gravely disappointed
In 2012 I bought a Volkswagen Jetta Vi 1.6 Tdi comfortline Dsg, ( which was almost new, it had 3000km's) it cost me R261.944.40 over 5 years with a service plan for 90kms, now that the car is paid up and service plan depleted, the gearbox packs up, car was towed to Barons N1 City where they ran a dianostic test, the cost for this is R1100.per hour, my service agent phone to give me the results and the quotation, it was the gearbox and the total cost is R41500.90, this came as a shock of cause, as the mechanics and sales rep failed to inform me as to this process and that the gearbox must be serviced, I am gravely dissapointed in this as I only have the car for 6years now the car will have to s****ped and thrown into the dump as I did not bank for this to happen and don't have the funds to fix it.Volkswagen you have lost a loyal customer as you can see on my track record, I am gravely dissapointed in your after service. For Barons N1 City, as a customer I am not interested in who carried out the last service as a customer I deserve the courtesy as to me Barons is Barons. A lesson learnt rather buy Toyota.I bought a runx in 2005 and after 15years she is still going strong.
