I purchased a polo TSI in 2019 Brand new from Barons N1 city September 2019..Just to have my first break down Jan 2020...Apparently it needed a clutch replacement.That went on for weeks..Then it this part that need replacement then this part that was ordered from Germany.Then it was a rattling sound that couldn't be diagnosed.. After numerous follow ups,I then questioned the transparency of dealership.This went on for 6 month.

I then pointed out that I purchased a new car, just to be sold a car with factory defect.And I feel its only fair to get wait I am paying for..Given the cars Reliability was questionable..If expert takes months to fix it..

This was really a frustrating experience..Bearing in mind I have NO mechanic knowledge..I made it very clear to the sales person at the time..This purchase was for reliability because I not mechanical inclined.And a single mom that depends on a reliable car.

My request at the time was declined. Saying that's what a factory warranty is for..Just to hear from inside sources that cannot be disclose that other clients has received a new car for much less..BUT, I don't meet the criteria to be taken seriously..I wasn't the right colour or gender or income bracket..

I accepted a request of mediation, that the dealership arranged...Thereafter left feeling bul****..The mediator was bias to say the least..I requested to record the conversation and it was hard no around the table.

Just to end it all I took my car back I Aug 2020.

Subsequent to that's my car has been towed into the dealership 4 times..And with every incondent I pointed out this car has a rattle sound that has never been fixed.

My car is currently back towed back at the dealership with same problem..And the dealership just finding problem after problem..

I am without a car but without fail my car payment are scheduled on time...

Needles to say the after sales service at Barons N1 and VW is terrible...They will offer you the best car, financing...But that's as good as it gets..When the sale is done..Then know they as hostile as it gets.

Me sharing my experience is hopefully to deter anybody that would not want to have the same experience.
