Poor customer service at Barons Woodmead
In May 2026, I purchased a Polo Gti from Baon's woodmead and a month into owning the vehicle that had approx 1500km on the clock, i started hearing funny ticking noises emanating from the passenger/dashboard on the passenger side. I alerted the dealership and I was advised to bring the vehicle in for them to fix this abnormality. I duly did this and the dealership claimed to have fixed the issue, a week later i informed the dealership that this noise persisted, once again I was asked to bring the vehicle to the dealership and I did, this time with accompanying videos as I drove the car and this noise was present. The dealerships mechanic drove the vehicle and claimed that there were no noises he could hear and thus nothing can be done. I was unhappy with this feedback and still brought the vehicle back for fixing given that this isnt normal for a new car to have this constant yet intermittent noise that the dealership can't diagnose. For the past 2 days the vehicle had been at the dealership with the same issue, I have taken more videos of the noises and the dealership refuses to assist in the rectification of this issue. I didnt buy a new car to be inconvenienced and drive long distances with persistent noises in the car. The dealerships response is to ignore my requests to engage with management and me stating that they can't continue to seek to do the same thing all the time to resolve an issue for which I have provided video evidence. I do not recreate the noises coming out of the car and it seems that failing this my issue will not be resolved.
