Pathetic

I would like to take some time out to notify all Toyota owners to please never take their vehicles to Barloworld Toyota, Durban Road, Cape Town. This is the worst service I have had anywhere in my life and I don't only mean car dealers. First I had to phone them the whole time as I was not informed of what was happening and then when my car had to stay there another day, I was also not advised of this to make any other arrangements. I only found out about this when phoning them just before close of business.

They don't seem to care that people have to make travel arrangements. As I have a warranty, my vehicle is covered for quite a lot of repair work, I not for electrical wiring. This apparently was the only problem found, but the issue here is that no one contacted me to inform me that it is a wire problem and that I will be charged for the repair. I was just told that this had to be done and I must pay in order to take my car. When I spoke to a manager, I was informed that they did not have to contact me as they had to fix the wire before they could see if there was any other problem. This for me is unacceptable as not everyone can just go to collect the car and now be expected to pay for something they were never informed of. My car had to stay there almost the whole week for me to load money to pay for a repair that I never authorised as I was never informed of this.

This has left me completely amazed at how some people do their business as they just expect us to pay and shut up. When I started asking questions about this the manager told me in the nicest way possible and indirectly I have to add, that I a wrong and sort of made me feel the fool for asking a question that I have full right of asking.

I still say that they were wrong to treat me like this and make me feel like the fool and pathetic service like this I will never reward and I will never go there again.

So many stories and lies.
