Not informed about the labor charges
I took in my car to get checked at Barloworld Toyota Tygervalley and I was under the impression that the car has warranty and I would not be charged for the work done on the car... I was not informed at the time I brought in my vehicle that I will be charged for labor and how much it costs, I only found out about this when I had to fetch my vehicle and now the service manager Karen Reddy refused to listen to reason and said I will not be getting my car until such payment is made. I had to beg and borrow just to have the money required, because I didn't have any other means of getting home... Now I'm left with a debt that could've been avoided had I been informed prior taking my car in for the diagnostic.

We thank you for sending us your concern, your matter was raised to the dealership. In order for the dealership to diagnose the issue its standard procedure for labour to be quoted. That amount quoted was R471.50 , of which the dealership agreed to R300.
Unfortunately, your vehicle was out of warranty and the charges could not be billed to your warranty.
If you have any further concern, please email ***
