Missing vehicle parts after warranty repair.

On 09/02/2015 I took my Ford Focus ST, Reg. FYW502MP, to Barloworld Ford Bruma for an Engine Management light that came on. The vehicle is still under warranty. The warranty repair was only completed on 16/03/2015 when I was informed that I could go pick up my vehicle from Bruma Ford. On 06/08/2015 my vehicle was serviced by Ritchie Ford in Standerton. The technician at Ritchie noticed that the Belly Plate Cover for the engine compartment was missing. Upon investigation he saw that it was removed, with the *****s and notified me of the situation.

I phoned Bruma Ford and notified them of the situation. Nelius Botha told me that they would investigate. On 19/08/2015 Nelius notified me that they could not find the part and that Bruma Ford was willing to pay 50% of the part and then I had to pay the other 50%. That was unacceptable for me. On 26/08/2015 I called Bruma Ford again and I was told by Nelius that he spoke to the DP and it was decided that Bruma would not replace the part as the time that has passed was too long. Bruma stays the responsible party and should replace the missing part as Bruma was the last dealer that worked on my vehicle. This is poor service from Bruma Ford
