Ford N1 City Barloworld. Very bad service do not buy a Ford.
Good day Craig
Trust you are well.
I have left numerous massages for you through you reception desk, with no response, and after waiting at the branch for you to return as no one could get a hold of you.
My Kuga was scheduled for a 100 000 kilometer service yesterday. The car currently only has 68 000kilometers on the clock. On my way to the service center the car engine light came on and the car started idling uneven. This was informed to Abby who is my service advisor.
I requested that the workshop manager call me as soon as possible, as I need to know what is happening and what the way forward is. I phoned again an hour later and Abby informed me that the Manager is busy, but the technician informed her that the engine needs to be opened and the head needs to be remove to assess the problem and possibly replace the head and so on. I was also informed that they can only start on my vehicle in 3 weeks’ time as the workshop is fully booked with repairs. Again I requested that the manager phones me to resolve this issue.
After an hour not hearing from anyone I went down to your branch to speak to the workshop manager directly. He explained to me that he is fully booked with broken down vehicles and he does not have a replacement car for me to use and he cannot give me a date by when he will be able to help me.
I am a contract worker working out of town, my wife is working fulltime as a manager who needs to travel. I have a daughter in pre school and a small baby that needs to attend crèche for my wife to work. My wife can not sit without a car for a day.
All this explained to the workshop manager he still could not give me a proper straight answer. He explained to me that ford gives out courtesy vehicles on Goodwill. When I bought this car I did not buy the extended warranty on goodwill and definitely did not pay the extended warranty on goodwill.
I have to still pay my installments on this vehicle and still need to pay insurance on this vehicle. You will only start working on this vehicle in 3 weeks’ time, with no proper answer on how long thereafter it will take to finalize the repairs on the vehicle. Where does this leave me as your client. Stranded at home???
This is not my or any other ford clients fault that N1 City Barloworld is sitting with a long list of repairs of vehicles. I bought a vehicle to be reliable in this case it isn’t, so now Ford needs to come to the party and resolve my issue. I can and will not wait for one day as soon as possible to receive a vehicle in goodwill.
As explained to your Manager I will not leave this issue here I need this to be resolved with immediate effect.
As explained to Abby I want a full report on the Kuga on what happened and on how the engine will be fixed. They can not only repair the head of this car and they can not only replace some engine parts the wear and tear on the other part has already been done. I will also need to know how will the extension work on my warranty work with these repairs done.
With Ford Kuga already on social media as it is and the service I received yesterday this does not go down well at this stage.
