Fitment request refused

I recently contacted the service department to fit a Toyota OEM part to my vehicle, I was shot down very rudely and told that they will not assist me as I did not buy the part from them. I own two Toyotas and was a loyal customer up to now. I inquired with the Dealer Principal who was very apologetic and he confirmed there is no policy that states that they will not assist with such a request. I will not do business here again.
